Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
First saw this yesterday and thought it strange that it hadn't been made known more widely, but has this morning been confirmed by the West Ham Met Police liaison guy on Twitter.

Basically Lyon police will only be allowing West Ham fans holding away ticket access to the ground on Thursday.

I’m confused… how would any West ham fan gain access to the ground unless he had a ticket?? Well of course unless you are Brenty in which case you karate kick the stewards to death and just run through…

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
It means they're saying that West Ham fans with tickets anywhere other than the away section will be denied access.

Oh yeah, that'll stop our lot. Because, traditionally, we've always upheld that request by opposition sides.

(Makes a point to look out for our numbers in the home end...)

Huffers - WH fans? You mean English people? How could they prove you're an Iron, ffs?

They're obviously worried about it kicking off, perhaps they should've thought about that before giving us such a small allocation. Obviously putting us all together would've made it a lot easier to police

How exactly will they be checking that every fan entering the home sections isnt a West Ham fan?

As said wear a beret & exclaim HAW HEE HAW loudly while approaching the stadium .... sorry LE STADION.
Use a garlic aftershave to make sure

North Bank - the allocation was all they had to give though.

Unless the French police strip me naked and see my West Ham tattoo on my thigh, there’s no way they can prove I’m a West Ham fan.

So we will be fine.

Would the police want 3k westham fans running around the streets. Or be put in the ground. you will get in ,its common sense.

They are just putting this out there hoping that some take heed. They will have to let us in. My tickets are right next to our fans

Don't even need a VPN to book tickets now so they've hardly tried clamping down on English buying them have they.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Letting folk buy them and letting folk use them are two completely different things though.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Well if this is the case and people are fined or arrested West Ham will have a monumental fuck up on their hands. Allowing their partners I think P1 it was, to sell tickets in the home end.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
An Everton fan on instagram said that when they went there in 2018 the police rounded them all up and kept them in the car park until after the game. Then put them on buses straight to the airport even though some wasn’t flying home that night. Not looking good ffs.
